Jen has been a physical therapist in outpatient orthopedics for over 20 years. She holds an advanced manual therapy certification (Level IV) through the North American Institute of Orthopedics and Manual Therapy earning her COMT (Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist). Her other certifications include the Functional Movement Systems including Functional Range Conditioning and Functional Range Systems. Her pelvic and sexual health training is through Herman and Wallace.
Jen loves to learn and surround herself my those doing the same. She brought her manual therapy knowledge of the spine to the University of Washington PT students helping teach the manual therapy portion of the 511 Spinal Musculoskeletal class for 9 years.
Providing holistic care is vital and to help expand what she could offer her clients, in 2020 she went through the Functional Medicine Health Coaching program as well as becoming nationally certified through the NBC-HWC. This allows her to dive into other contributing factors that may be holding people back such as how we nourish our bodies, sleep hygiene, stress management and regular movement.
Outside of the clinic, Jen enjoys staying active on the tennis and volleyball courts, running, lifting weights, cooking and spending time with her two kids and husband in West Seattle.
